Find out moreFunded by the UK Space Agency, the development of the Midlands Space Cluster is led by a consortium of partners led by the University of Leicester and guided by the Midlands Space Cluster Advisory Group. The partners offer a wealth of experience in space and adjacent sectors and include institutions like the University of Leicester at Space Park Leicester, University of Birmingham, University of Nottingham and the Manufacturing Technology Centre, each bringing their cutting-edge research, academic expertise, and talent pipeline to the cluster. The Midlands Aerospace Alliance bring their expertise in engaging industry and fostering economic growth while Leicester City Council give a local government perspective. The National Space Academy, located in the National Space Centre, also give a unique perspective on skills development and attracting talent into the sector.
